Crown Rewards digital membership tools for Perth members
Crown digital membership tools support Rewards account information, points and benefits.

The Crown Resorts app and Crown Rewards Member Hub are digital tools for managing membership and planning visits to Crown properties. They are not a real-money online casino. Members can use the app to view rewards information, track points and status credits, reset a Crown Rewards PIN, discover restaurants and entertainment, and make selected hotel, restaurant and theatre bookings.

The Member Hub has a narrower account-management role: Crown Perth says members can view and update account details, see member offers and benefits, and check their Points balance online. For a new member, the app can also fast-track the initial Crown Rewards sign-up before identity verification and card collection at a Crown Rewards desk.

App, Member Hub and membership card: three different things

The Crown Resorts app is a mobile planning and membership companion. The Member Hub is the online account area for Crown Rewards information. The physical Crown Rewards Membership Card identifies the member at participating facilities and, at Crown Perth, is required for EGM carded play once it has been properly updated.

Starting membership in the app does not mean every venue verification step is complete. Checking a Points balance in the Member Hub does not create an online gambling wallet, and the physical card and in-person verification still matter for activities that require them.

For the complete loyalty-program context, including earning and redeeming Points, read Crown Rewards Perth.

What the Crown Resorts app can do

The Crown Resorts app combines venue planning with Crown Rewards access. Members can view a Points balance, track status-credit progress and reset their Rewards PIN, while also browsing restaurants, menus, events, bars, special offers, theatre information and other things to do across Crown.

These booking and venue-discovery functions support a physical Crown visit; they do not provide remote casino play.

Casino branding can make a mobile app look like a gambling app on first inspection. Crown’s published feature list points instead to rewards, discovery and reservations. The app’s casino content is part of venue discovery, not a catalogue of online real-money games.

What the Member Hub can do

The Crown Rewards Member Hub is the browser-based account area. Crown Perth currently lists three core functions: viewing and updating account details, viewing member offers and benefits, and checking the member’s Points balance. These are straightforward loyalty-account functions and can be accessed without turning the account into a gambling balance.

The Member Hub is useful for checking account information, seeing which benefits are attached to membership and confirming a Points balance. Crown’s Rewards material also says Points can be earned and redeemed across participating facilities, including hotels, restaurants, bars, shopping and casino activity.

Offers shown to a logged-in member can be personalised, so another member may see different benefits or offers. The Member Hub is the place to view account-specific entitlements.

Starting Crown Rewards membership in the app

Crown Perth promotes the app as a sign-up shortcut. A prospective member can complete the initial sign-up process on mobile and then visit a Crown Rewards desk to verify identity and collect the membership card. The joining page lists Australian driver licences or learner permits, Australian passports and foreign passports as identification accepted within the app for that initial process.

Alternatively, a person can begin at a Crown Rewards desk with acceptable physical identification. Crown lists a broader desk-based set that includes New Zealand driver licences or learner permits, Australian ImmiCards, and Australian Proof of Age or Photo Cards in addition to passports and Australian driver licences.

This hybrid flow is particularly relevant for someone planning EGM play. The app can reduce the amount of initial registration work, but EGM access at Perth depends on a valid membership card and the carded-play requirements. See the dedicated Crown Perth carded play for the photo, time-limit and loss-limit steps.

What still requires an in-person visit

The app can start Crown Rewards membership, but Crown still directs a new member to a Crown Rewards desk to verify identity and collect the physical membership card. That distinction is important for EGM play at Perth because a valid, updated Crown Rewards Membership Card is required before an electronic gaming machine can be activated.

The in-person route also accepts a broader identification set than the app’s initial sign-up flow. Crown lists Australian and foreign passports and Australian driver or learner licences for the app, while desk applications can also use documents such as New Zealand driver or learner licences, Australian ImmiCards and Australian Proof of Age or Photo Cards.

A phone therefore handles useful account and planning tasks, but it does not replace every physical membership step. Checking Points or member offers can be done digitally; identity verification, card collection and the card preparation needed for EGM access still depend on the venue process. Visitors who need those services should also account for the Crown Rewards desk’s own operating hours.

The app also cannot substitute for the personalised physical card when Crown requires that card to activate an EGM.

Why this is not an online casino account

The Member Hub is not an online casino wallet, and the app does not provide a way to deposit money and play Crown Perth casino games remotely.

A Crown Rewards login and a casino gambling account are different products. The Member Hub is for membership details, Points, offers and benefits, while the Crown Resorts app adds rewards information, venue discovery and supported bookings. Neither provides a balance for real-money online casino play.

For the legal and product distinction in more detail, see Crown Perth online casino.

How the app relates to a physical Crown Perth visit

Before visiting, a member can use the app to explore restaurants, bars, entertainment and accommodation, review offers and make supported bookings. During the visit, Rewards information remains available on the phone, while the physical membership card is used where card presentation is required.

For EGM players, this separation is especially concrete. Crown’s current Perth rules require a valid membership card for EGM play. The app does not replace the personalised carded-play system, and the player still needs the required identity verification, photo and time/loss settings attached to the membership.

For visitors who are not planning to gamble, the app can still have value because its restaurant, hotel, theatre and venue-discovery functions extend beyond the casino floor.

Points, benefits and account information

Crown Rewards Points connect the digital tools to activity across participating Crown facilities. Crown’s current Rewards material says members can earn Points at participating hotels, restaurants, bars, casino facilities, shops and other listed venues, and can redeem them toward eligible Crown experiences and payments. The app and Member Hub make the balance easier to monitor.

Points are part of the Crown Rewards loyalty framework, not cash in an online casino wallet. Benefits can depend on tier, participating facility and current offers, and personalised entitlements appear in the logged-in account.

Which digital tool should you use?

Use the Member Hub when the task is mainly account-based: checking Points, reviewing benefits or updating account details. Use the Crown Resorts app when you want those membership functions alongside mobile discovery and booking tools. Use a Crown Rewards desk when physical identification, card collection, a Perth card update or other in-person membership assistance is required.

If the goal is remote real-money casino play, neither the app nor Member Hub is the product you are looking for. If the goal is to prepare for a Crown Perth visit and keep Rewards information accessible, both digital tools can reduce friction without changing the land-based nature of the casino.

Starting membership before a Crown Perth visit

A first-time visitor can use the app before arriving to begin Crown Rewards registration and explore the resort. That can make the phone useful for preparation, but the app should not be treated as proof that every membership requirement has been completed. Crown’s current joining flow directs a person who starts in the app to a Crown Rewards desk for identity verification and collection of the membership card.

After membership is active, the digital tools become more useful for routine administration. The Member Hub can surface account details, member offers and benefits, and the Points balance. The app adds a mobile layer for checking Rewards information while also browsing dining, bars, entertainment and accommodation. A member can therefore use the same Crown ecosystem for planning a hotel or restaurant visit without that functionality becoming casino gambling.

Completing the app-assisted membership start does not make the card ready for Perth EGM play by itself. The physical membership card still needs the required identity verification, photo and Perth carded-play settings before it can activate an EGM.

In short, use Crown digital tools to manage membership and organise a visit, while treating casino play as an in-person venue activity governed by the relevant Crown Perth requirements.
